Well, after months of investigations, legal documents, coaching changes, late season collapses and mass defections, the Hoosiers will go before the NCAA Hearing on Infractions today. The closed-session meetings will determine the ultimate punishment the men's basketball program will suffer. For those of you who are asking, why is the IU basketball team in this trouble, just consult any post on this blog or any other IU site for the last 8 months and I am sure there is a detailed explanation!
Here is what I was thinking this morning -how uncomfortable is it going to be to have Kelvin Sampson, Rick Greenspan and Tom Crean in the same room? How does that conversation go?
The hearing is the penultimate step in this ongoing phone call saga. In a few weeks we will all know the final verdict, but until then, what punishment awaits the Hoosiers is uncertain. What are your thoughts? Will the NCAA go easy on the Hoosiers, or will IU face additional punishments.
