That is the question being posed by some fans on message boards and blogs right now, as well as by my dad who cannot use the internet very well. One fan on the most popular IU message board, Peegs.com, said Gordon would go 27th in the draft. Miami Heat coach Pat Riley, who could end up with the No. 1 pick in this year's NBA draft, was in attendance Sunday to watch Gordon and Co. lose to Penn State.
Gordon has struggled of late, but he still scored 26 points against Penn State. Gordon does not have a NBA-quality "handle" as of yet and has not shot the ball well since suffering a wrist injury earlier this season, but I wouldn't bet on Gordon falling outside the top-10 of this year's draft, unless he suffers a serious injury.
Both ESPN.com and NBADraft.net have Gordon going very high in this year's draft, so don't expect a sophomore campaign out of the Indianapolis native.
There has been a lot of Gordon criticism lately? Why? Do you think he is NBA ready?
