In today's Indiana Daily Student, Chris wrote about the tough test the Hoosiers face in the Kohl Center, while Mike detailed Eric Gordon's recent injury. With all the negative headlines and discussion surrounding the team this week, I chose a more lighthearted angle in my column, comparing the Hoosiers to one of my favorite TV shows.
Although IU has been resilient on the road this season, I can't see the Badgers stumbling at home tonight -- especially coming off a loss to Purdue. I've picked against the Hoosiers on the road a couple times this season and was proven wrong both times, so if IU wins tonight, maybe I shouldn't make a career out of this columnist gig. But I can't find a reason to pick the Hoosiers in good faith considering the Badger's defense and their stellar home record. Gordon's injury gnaws at my brain as well.
