Apparently the Hoosiers 48 point victory wasn't enough to spare them from doing wind sprints in full pads on Tuesday. At the end of practice Coach Lynch had the entire team run gassers. Needless to say, the coaching staff wasn't still dwelling on their dominance of Indiana State.

Other Notes:

Coach Lynch had high praise for both Western Michigan and the Mid-American Conference (MAC):

"(Western Michigan head coach) Bill Cupid, his offensive football teams are always well schooled and very tough to defend because they'll give you about as many formations as you'll see in one game." Lynch said. "They're always very well balanced, so we got a week of preparation ahead of us."

Also Lynch and the rest of the Hoosiers had nothing but nice things to say about Jamarko Simmons, as well as the experienced offensive line that Western Michigan throws out there.

One final note: Coach Lynch said Waldo Stadium was going to be a "Hornets nest", so he is expecting a rowdy and hostile crowd to greet the men in cream and crimson.
