Nevertheless, after making a conscience decision not to blog today, I discovered the Hoosiers released their 2007-2008 schedule. That's like tempting an alcoholic with a bottle of Jack Daniels.
Here are five games that stood out to me when I looked at the schedule:
1. Nov. 10 - Pembroke State: Kelvin Sampson brings his hometown college to Bloomington to play the Hoosiers in Assembly Hall. 2. Dec. 8 - Kentucky: The Wildcats in Bloomington? Hoosier fans will get the opportunity to find out if their Kentucky counterparts really do bleed blue. 3. Jan. 26 - Conneticuit: A brutal away game last season in the middle of Big Ten season turns into a warm-up before traveling to Wisconsin five days later 4. Feb. 7 - at Illinois: How do you think the Illini fans will welcome Eric Gordon? Beer bottles? Batteries a la Shea Stadium versus John Rocker? 5. Feb. 19 - Purdue: The only game the Hoosiers play against the Boilermakers all season.
