In case you didn't know, or you're so busy laughing about the Big Purple Pimp you can't focus, the IU baseball team has a pretty big series this weekend.
The Hoosiers travel to arch-rival Purdue to open a four-game set Friday. We'll chat later about the implications of the series and things like that, but it looks like all the key players will be making the road trip.
We learned today that sophomore center fielder Andrew Means will indeed make the trip and not miss any action.
There was some doubt whether Means would make the trip because of his football commitments and this weekend's IU spring football game. Instead of lining up at wide receiver, Means will take his usual spot in center.
Needless to say, IU coach Tracy Smith will be happy to take Means with him to face the Boilers.
