Indiana football continues to add to its 2027 class this summer. The Hoosiers landed a commitment from three-star safety Brady Scott on Sunday, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. Scott is the Hoosiers’ ninth commit of the 2027 cycle.

Scott is rated as the No. 49 safety and the fourth-best player in Massachusetts, per Rivals Industry rankings. The 6-foot, 195-pound safety chose Indiana over Iowa, the University of Louisville, Vanderbilt University and UCLA.

Scott was scheduled to take an official visit to Louisville this weekend but did not attend. The Hoosiers first offered Scott in May 2025, and he had an official visit to Bloomington on April 24.

As a multi-sport athlete at Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts, Scott also has experience playing wide receiver. Scott brings athleticism and versatility to the Hoosiers’ future secondary. He joins Rico Jackson as Indiana’s second safety commit of the 2027 class.
