Palmer Ault can’t stop scoring. He can’t stop winning awards, either.
The senior forward scored two goals for No. 14 Indiana men’s soccer against No. 25 University of Kentucky on Oct. 14, then netted his second hat trick of the season against Hanover College on Oct. 17. In return, Ault secured two weekly honors Tuesday.
College Soccer News recognized Ault with his first award of the day as he won national Offensive Player of the Week. His next honor was Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, his third time earning the award.
Of the nine weekly conference awards, Indiana has won five Offensive Player of the Weeks.
Freshman goalkeeper Judewellin Michel, who returned to the starting lineup against Kentucky, also earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week. He conceded one goal across 180 minutes for the Hoosiers, securing wins over the Wildcats and the Panthers.
