The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a targeted shooting that occurred early morning June 18, near the 4600 block of South College Drive.
According to a news release, a 35-year-old female and 38-year-old male were found wounded in their residence before being transported to the IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Both are expected to recover from their injuries.
The sheriff’s office is currently investigating, and more information will be released as details become available.
The department states this was a targeted incident and there is no threat to public safety.
