Crime Filler

A 25-year-old Seymour man died after a single vehicle crash March 24 around midnight, BPD Captain Ryan Pedigo said.

Pedigo said the man was traveling east on Atwater when his grey Tesla veered off the road, colliding with both an embankment and a tree at the intersection of East Atwater Street and South Arbutus Street.

Callers stated that the car was so damaged they couldn’t see the man.

Officers and the Bloomington Fire Department responded to the area at 12:20 a.m. BFD removed the man from the vehicle and did not find a pulse.

Responders administered life saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:46 a.m.

An autopsy is pending, alongside toxicology results.
