The IU Police Department receive two separate reports of rape from the Office of Student Conduct on Sept. 27.
According to IU Public Information Officer Hannah Skibba, the Office of Student Conduct contacted IUPD after a student reported being raped Sept. 23 at Foster Hall. This incident was not reported to IUPD by the individuals involved. The Office of Student Conduct also reported the occurrence of strangulation and confinement in this case.
The Office of Student Conduct contacted IUPD regarding a student who reported being raped Sept. 9 at Delta Tau Delta, Skibba said in an email. This incident was also not reported to IUPD by the individuals involved.
Both cases have been referred to university officials for review.
