The Indiana men's and women's tennis programs were named Division I 2023 All-Academic Teams by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Monday, meeting the combined team 3.2 grade point average minimum requirement for the current academic year.
Five women's tennis players on the 2022-2023 roster: freshman Nicole Teodosescu, redshirt juniors Mila Mejic and Xiaowei "Rose" Hu and graduates Lauren Lemonds and Saby Nihalani were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, meeting the individual 3.5 GPA minimum requirement.
Eight men's tennis players were honored under the same guidelines: freshmen Sam Landau, Andrew Meier and Facundo Yunis, juniors Nishanth Basavareddy and Jagger Saylor, senior Luka Vukovic and fifth-year seniors Carson Haskins and Mac Rogers.
In 2023, the ITA named 1,513 Division I women's Scholar-Athletes and 959 men's, corresponding with 234 women's programs and 162 men's honored as All-Academic Teams.
