Indiana field hockey's preseason exhibition versus Ball State University, originally planned for August 18 in Bloomington, has been canceled, the program announced Tuesday. Indiana will substitute it with an exhibition at home versus Miami University at 1 p.m. EST on August 20.
Indiana’s season opener will be five days later at Duke University. The Hoosiers begin their season with an eight-match road trip, replaying Miami on September 4 in the regular season. Big Ten matches begin September 15, still with non-conference matchups intertwined.
Indiana’s regular season concludes at home on October 29 against Kent State University. All of Indiana’s home matches, including the lone preseason exhibition, will be held at Deborah Tobias Field and are free admission to all fans. Indiana’s 2023 schedule can be found here.
