Taste of Bloomington To-Go is occurring from June 19-26, with participating restaurants offering specials and giving Taste of Bloomington To-Go carry-out bags to the first 1,000 customers, according to a press release from Downtown Bloomington Inc.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Taste of Bloomington meant restaurants hosting booths around Showers Common, as well as live music and children’s activities, according to the Visit Bloomington website.
Due to concerns about pandemic safety, the 2021 Taste of Bloomington encourages people to either dine-in or carry-out food at the restaurants rather than all gather in one area.
There are 42 restaurants participating in the 2021 Taste of Bloomington, according to the Visit Bloomington website.
According to the Vist Bloomington website, Taste of Bloomington will return to an in-person event in 2022.
