END: Tuttle takes a knee and lets the clock run out. IU beats Maryland 27-11 and improves to 5-1.

IU recovers the onside kick. Maryland still has three timeouts remaining.

TOUCHDOWN: Tagovailoa connects with junior receiver Dontay Demus Jr. for a 43-yard touchdown. The Terrapins convert on a two-point conversion to make it 27-11. 1:32, 4Q.

5:06: Baldwin takes three consecutive handoffs, crossing the century mark for rushing yards on the day. IU punts after taking two minutes off the clock.

7:25: Maryland's fifth three and out on the day ends with a punt and IU getting the ball at its own 22. The Terrapins' drive included a sack from McFadden, IU's third on the day.

TOUCHDOWN: Scott scores on the wildcat for the third time today. The extra point makes IU's lead 27-3. The junior has 81 rush yards on the day and the team has 228.

Freshman Tim Baldwin Jr. continues to impress with his third 20+ yard rush of the day. Baldwin has 95 yards on 11 carries and has brought IU into the red zone.

12:50: After a sack, Micah McFadden steps in from of a pass from Tagovailoa for IU's third pick of the day. IU gets the ball back in Maryland territory.

FIELD GOAL: Charles Campbell's attempt is good from 33 yards out. IU goes up 20-3. 13:27, 4Q.

Fourth Quarter

End of Third Quarter: IU has moved the ball 54 yards on the drive, including two plays over 20 yards. IU has the ball in the red zone to start the fourth quarter.

2:19: Maryland punts back to IU after another three and out. Tuttle takes the field for IU.

TOUCHDOWN: Scott takes it himself on another wildcat snap. The two-point conversion is good and IU takes a 17-3 lead. 3:44, 3Q.

Penix goes down after a 21-yard scramble to the 3-yard line. He slapped the ground after what looked to be a leg injury. Sophomore Jack Tuttle is in for Penix.

Reese Taylor returns the punt to IU's 47-yard line.

SAFETY: Sophomore D.K. Bonhomme reads Tagovailoa's draw decision and sacks him for a safety. IU takes a 9-3 lead and will get the ball back. 8:10, 3Q.

8:14: IU goes for it on fourth and two from Maryland's 5-yard line, but Scott comes up just short. IU's drive was 12 plays and 71 yards, taking nearly seven minutes of clock, but IU doesn't score. The Hoosiers ran the ball nine times and threw three times. All three throws were complete.

15:00: After deferring the toss to start the game, IU gets the ball to start the second half. IU's second play goes to senior Whop Philyor, his first catch of the day.

Third Quarter

HALFTIME: Maryland runs out the clock. At the half, No. 12 IU leads Maryland 7-3.

:21: IU moves the ball on the ground, but end the drive with a punt. Penix is now 2-15 on the day.

2:34: The Terrapins respond with a three and out of their own and punt back to the Hoosiers. IU gets the ball after a touchback.

3:40: Three straight incompletions from Penix lead to another IU three and out. Maryland takes over at its own 39-yard line.

FIELD GOAL: Maryland gets on the board with a 38-yard field goal. IU's defense held off another red zone drive from Maryland. 4:06, 2Q.

6:29: Penix continues to look uncomfortable from the pocket. IU goes three and out for the third time on the day.

7:40: Maryland elects to punt on a fourth and one in its own territory. The ball is downed at IU's 15-yard line.

9:12: IU moves the ball 25 yards before several incompletions from sophomore Michael Penix Jr. end the drive. Penix 1-8 so far on the day. The punt gives Maryland the ball at its 31-yard line.

10:43: Maryland's ensuing drive stalls after Tagovailoa is pressured. The punt is pinned at IU's two-yard line.

12:08: Jaylin Williams picks off Tagovailoa and returns 39 yards, but fumbles at the end of the run. The ball is recovered by Maryland, who gets a fresh set of downs and moves into IU territory.

14:01: IU can't move the ball after Mullen's interception. It's the second Hoosier three and out of the day, and Maryland gets the ball in IU territory.

Second Quarter

:23: Tiawan Mullen intercepts Tagovailoa near the end zone. The Terrapins' drive entered the red zone before penalties forced them back. IU runs one play from its own 2-yard line to end the quarter.

TOUCHDOWN: Junior Stevie Scott III runs the ball three yards into the end zone to put IU up 7-0. IU turns to the wildcat formation and pounds the run game, completing only one pass on the drive. 4:02, 1Q.

9:13: Maryland punts after a first down run by Tagovailoa was called back for holding. IU starts its second drive at the 26-yard line.

9:59: The Hoosiers can't accomplish anything on their first drive. IU goes three and out and punts it back to Maryland, who takes over at its own 38.

10:50: Maryland misses a field goal to start the game. Maryland moved quickly down the field with short passes and quick runs. The drive stalled after sophomore quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa overthrew a receiver in the end zone.

First Quarter

Kickoff: IU won the toss and chose to defer to the second half. The kickoff went into the end zone for a touchback.
