Hitting Home, April 5 — Coronavirus, chicken wings and commencement

On the first episode of Hitting Home, hosts Griffin Gonzalez and Grace Ybarra interview three guests about the effect of the coronavirus on the Bloomington community.

They speak with IU spokesperson Chuck Carney about online classes, the satisfactory grade policy and commencement ceremonies. Next, the hosts talk to Kristen Arnspong, an IU School of Nursing senior, about her online nursing coursework and the abrupt end of her on-campus college career. Finally, they speak with BuffaoLouie's owner Ed Schwartzman about his curbside pickup and the meals he makes for children experiencing food insecurity.
