IU baseball’s first home game against Butler University on Wednesday has been canceled due to inclement weather, according to a press release from IU Athletics.

The forecast predicts snow beginning Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. The two teams are working to reschedule a makeup game later in the season.

The Hoosiers are scheduled to play their next home game against Purdue on March 4 at Bart Kaufman Field.

The team is set to play in the Keith LeClair Classic this weekend in Greenville, North Carolina. IU will face No. 17 East Carolina University, No. 13 University of Mississippi and High Point University.
