Scott was named the Big Ten Player of the Week for the first timee in his career. He earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors twice last season.

Scott’s 116 yards this past week against Northwestern was his third 100-yard game in four weeks, and his two rushing touchdowns increased his season total to nine — tied for third most in Big Ten and tied for 22nd in the country.

The Syracuse, New York, native has now scored in 11 of his last 14 games, totaling 16 touchdowns over that stretch.

Scott’s resurgence after a slow start to the season has helped the Hoosiers to its first winning season since 2007 as IU will look to add its eighth win of the season next week on the road against Penn State.
