An inside look: "Ascension"

Students, Bloomington residents and guests gathered on the third floor of the Eskenazi Museum of Art to follow performers as they danced their way through the museum.

Students and faculty members from the Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance performed Nov. 8-12 at the Eskenazi Museum of Art. The show, “Ascension,” was part of the reopening celebration for the museum.

"Ascension" was choreographed by director of contemporary dance Elizabeth Shea and composed by Craig Micheal Davis. This site- specific piece was choreographed specifically for the museum. It showcased the architectural changes within the museum.
