IU is urging students to register to vote prior to the upcoming election Nov. 5.

Indiana voter registration ends Oct. 7, 29 days before the election. Applications must be postmarked or hand-delivered to the county voter registration office by the deadline.

The university provides information about electronic registration and self-mailing voter registration forms available on campus.

The self-mailing forms can be obtained on campus at Student Central on Union Street and on the second floor of the East Tower of Herman B Wells Library.

The applications can also be acquired at off-campus locations such as the county voter registration office, public libraries and state license branches.
