A witness who lives on West 12th Street near Illinois Street told police she heard six shots near her home around 10 p.m. Friday night, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Shane Rasche said.
Police searched the area and found 10 bullet casings on 13th Street.
The witness said she looked out her window and saw two cars driving away quickly, she told police. One was a four-door black passenger car, and the other was a black truck. The witness couldn’t identify the the vehicles' make or models.
Police do not have a description of a suspect yet but are planning to get footage to identify the people involved.
