A student instructed to pack up her room in Teter Quad before winter break returned to notice $175 missing.
The 18-year-old was required to pack up her room due to mold inspection. She was one of the students who was later relocated to Wilkie Residence Hall, police said.
She reported the stolen cash Monday to the IU Police Department. IUPD Capt. Craig Munroe said the money was in a wallet in a moving box left in her room.
There are no suspects, but IUPD is investigating the burglary.
