A biker was hit by a car Tuesday on the corner of East Third and Jordan Streets. The IU Police Department responded to the accident.
IUPD Sgt. Craig Munroe said the biker and car were traveling in the same direction down East Third Street. The car turned onto South Jordan and hit the biker, who was in the bike lane.
Police said the 28-year-old biker was transported to the hospital with a broken collarbone. The biker is not a student.
