How to purchase season tickets for IU men's basketball and football games

The Indiana student section reacts to a shot during the Hoosiers' game against the Iowa Hawkeyes in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Dec. 4. The 2018 version of Hoosier Hysteria takes place Saturday afternoon.

The college experience is incomplete without sports.

Whether you're a die-hard fan who closely follows every recruit who commits to your team or someone who just goes to the games to be with friends, collegiate sports offer something different for each person.

At IU, all home sporting events are free for IU students to attend with a valid student ID, except for two — men's basketball and football.

Most IU students opt to charge the expenses for men's basketball and football season tickets to their bursar account, effectively making it part of their university expenses during a semester. However, the deadline to charge the costs of the season tickets to a student's bursar account is Aug. 24.

Students can still purchase tickets after the Aug. 24 deadline through the IU Hoosiers website.
