There’s still time to be a part of Bloomington PRIDE’s Summerfest on Saturday, August 29.
The nonprofit is looking for volunteers that are 16 years or older to help run the celebration, which is in its second year. Volunteers may help with parade decorating, ticket sales, merchandise sales and clean-up. The festival will be downtown at Fourth Street and College Avenue and will begin at 2 p.m. Disc jockeys, performances and food trucks will be available until 11 p.m..
Volunteers are expected to attend an orientation Thursday, Aug. 27 at the Monroe County Public Library auditorium from 7 to 9 p.m.
