An assault with a knife was reported to the Bloomington Police Department at about 11:28 p.m. Saturday, Lt. Brad Seifers said. The male victim, who isn’t a resident of Bloomington but frequently makes trips to visit friends in town, was stabbed in his lower torso.
According to the report, the victim had friends drop him off at about 11 p.m., and he called them a short time later to pick him up at 343 E. Winslow Road near the Winslow One-Stop Laundromat, where they noticed the stab wound. They transported him to the Monroe Hospital.
