The alleged incident occurred between the hours of 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday, according to the IU police department’s daily ?crime log.
“It was not a stranger event, we know that,” Lt. Craig Munroe said.
The suspect in the case was the victim’s ex-boyfriend, Munroe said.
The case remains open.
Unlike other cases similar to this, no crime alert was sent out via email to students and staff.
