Armed robbery on city's north west side

A gas station on Bloomington’s north side was robbed at 4:26 a.m. Thursday, Capt. Joe Qualters said.

A white male between the age of 40 and 45 entered the Marathon at 1705 N. Kinser Pike with a silver hand gun, according to the report. He demanded money from the cash drawer and took an undisclosed amount of money.

Video surveillance shows the suspect in a dark-colored leather coat with a gray hoodie underneath. He had on blue jeans, dark shoes and yellow gloves and appeared to have a “reddish mustache,” according to the report.

He left the Marathon in a small to mid-sized silver or gray pick up truck that had been parked behind the gas station. He fled west on Gourley Pike.

No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made.
