There is a 9-1-1 outage in Monroe County and surrounding areas right now, according a release from the Indiana State Police.
Cellphone users will have their calls directed to the Central Dispatch’s admin lines. People calling on land lines should call 812-349-3332 if they have an emergency.
Police said the outage happened around 10 a.m. this morning.
The State Police will notify the public when 9-1-1 services are back to normal.
AT&T is working on the problem.
