Keith Cash and living the dream

We’ve all heard the saying “living the dream.”

There are not very many of us that get to actually experience it.

Keith was one person we knew that lived his dream.

During his career at the IU Police Department, Keith gained experience and developed relationships and friendships that led to him becoming the IU Chief of Police, the position he dreamed of. Unfortunately, that dream was shorter than any of us hoped for.

Coming to Bloomington to lay Keith to rest was very difficult for our family. As we met more and more of Keith’s IUPD/IU/Bloomington “family,” we were comforted to know how much he was appreciated and loved.

For those people that helped lessen our burden and assisted us in every way possible, you will never be forgotten.

We appreciate the individuals and organizations that helped plan and participate in Keith’s memorial service. Vivid memories of a person dear to all of us will be carried forever.

To those in attendance and for those unable to attend, your thoughts, prayers and support are very much appreciated and felt.

It is easy for us to see how Keith was so very proud of his campus and Bloomington communities.
