Yogi's among most popular restaurants in U.S.

Urbanspoon, a popular mobile restaurant discovery application, named the Bloomington restaurant and bar one of the nation’s most popular eateries. Yogi’s Grill & Bar, located at 519 E. 10th St., is one of 200 in the nation and is the only Bloomington restaurant bar to receive the title.  

Yogi’s is one of four Indiana restaurant bars to be recognized by Urbanspoon. The other Indiana restaurant bars were The Local Eatery and Pub in Westfield, BRU Burger Bar in Indianapolis and St. Elmo Steak House in Indianapolis.

Urbanspoon examined more than 7,500 restaurant bars in the country. The restaurant bars were required to receive 85 percent or more “like” reviews on the application.

“We are honored to be recognized by Urbanspoon as one of the nation’s best restaurant bars,” Chris Karl of Yogi’s Grill & Bar said in a press release. “This award affirms our innovation, hard work and dedication to continuous improvement.”
