3-year-old girl possibly molested

Bloomington Police Department is investigating a reported child molestation involving a 3-year-old girl.

Sgt. Joseph Crider said the girl’s non-parental guardian called BPD Monday to report the possible incident.

The guardian told police the girl had reported pain and discomfort in her genital region.
The girl was taken to see a doctor Monday, but the results of the visit were inconclusive, Crider said.

Crider said the case has been assigned to a detective and is in the preliminary stages of
investigation.
