A voluntary survey is being conducted to determine how satisfied faculty at IU-Bloomington are with their jobs.
The survey is being conducted by the Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education and will end Jan. 18, 2013.
“The COACHE survey is a key component of Indiana University’s ongoing efforts to learn what faculty members like and dislike about their working conditions on the Bloomington campus,” Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs Thomas Gieryn said in a press release. “A high response rate from faculty will ensure that our information represents the full range of attitudes among more than 2,000 faculty members.”
Faculty can email coachefaculty@srbi.com to find the survey, which takes about 25 minutes to complete.
“We welcome this opportunity to learn from an independent, research-driven, comparative study,” Provost and Executive Vice President Lauren Robel said in the press release. “We strive to ensure that Indiana University is one of the best places for scholars to work.”
