Mother reports rape of juvenile daughter

The mother of a 15-year-old girl reported to the Bloomington Police Department her daughter was raped by an acquaintance.

No arrests have been made, and police are still investigating the case.

The juvenile was drinking alcohol at a friend’s residence with the 24-year-old male acquaintance. The two were inside a bedroom in the residence listening to music and watching television, Bloomington Police Department Lt. Bill Parker said.

When the male tried to remove the female’s pants, she objected and said she did not “want to go that far,” Parker said.

The female reported to her mother that intercourse occurred, and the mother filed the report.
