Strategic arts program launches nationwide survey

IU’s Strategic National Arts Alumni Project launched its annual online survey to gather data to use in enhancing the effectiveness of art school education.

Nearly 200,000 graduates from high schools, colleges and universities will report on their educational experiences and career paths.

Knowing how art school alumni use their abilities in the work place will help schools modify their coursework.

Study suggests new approach to preventing the spread of STDs

A study from researchers at IU and George Mason University found that the best approach to reducing the spread of diseases among gay men is to focus on broader sexual health rather than simply preventing the spread of sexual diseases.

The study was published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine. The authors say the study provided data that was missing from the repertoire of public health.
