IUPD reports possible shooting on campus, takes suspect into custody

The IU Police Department has given the all-clear in the search for a possible shooting suspect on the IU campus.

At 4:21 a.m., IUPD gave the all-clear, saying that "the suspect in earlier shooting is in custody."

IU Notify sent a warning at about 3:11 a.m. saying, “possible shooting on campus. Shooter at large. Get inside your home, lock your windows and doors, wait for further notification.”

At 3:45 a.m., IU-Bloomington sent an email saying that no one was injured, but police had set up a perimeter in the area of 1400 N. Jordan Ave.
