Bloomington Halloween happenings

THE FESTIVAL OF GHOST STORIES
This night of ghost stories beneath the stars has been a Bloomington tradition for 30 years. The event is free and open to the public, but the city cautions that it might be too spooky for young children.

B-LINE TWILIGHT TRAIL RUN & SHINDIG
Sponsored  by Upland Brewing Co. and the Bloomington Parks Foundation, this Halloween party is the first official event to take place on the B-Line Trail since its opening. The family-friendly event includes beer, live music and a costume contest.  
6 p.m. Saturday
The trail begins at Bloomington Farmer’s Market Plaza.

TRICK OR TREATING
The official hours for trick or treating will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31
The houses with the biggest candy bowls
