A Bloomington woman reported being sexually assaulted at her apartment Friday.
Police were called to the 29-year-old victim’s residence on the northwest side of town around 2 a.m., Sgt. Jeff Canada of the Bloomington Police Department said.
She told officers that she had been sexually assaulted by an acquaintance earlier in the night.
The woman was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital, and police are continuing to investigate the incident.
