Bloomington construction may cause delays

Several road reconstruction and repair projects are scheduled this week in Bloomington and may cause delays and detours.

West Third Street from South Franklin Road to South Landmark Avenue will have lane restrictions through July 21 for road reconstruction. Delays are possible.

North Headley Road from Griffy Lake for 600 feet to the south will be closed through April 15 for repair. Detour is necessary.

North College Avenue from West Ninth Street to West 10th Street will have lane restrictions and lane shifts daily through March 31 for construction. Expect delays.

West Ninth Street from North College Avenue to North Walnut Street will have lane restrictions with possible closures daily through Aug. 19. Detour and delays are possible.

The southbound lane of South Sare Road from East Cathcart Street to South McCartney Lane will be closed through March 25 for a sidewalk project. Expect a detour.

East Cottage Grove Avenue from North Walnut Grove to North Forrest Avenue will be closed through April 1 for a steam line project. Detour is necessary.

North Dunn Street from East Varsity Lane to the Indiana 45/46 Bypass will be closed this week for a gas main installation. Expect a detour.

East 13th Street from North Woodlawn Avenue to North Forrest Avenue will have lane restrictions this week for a communication conduit project. Delays are possible.

The eastbound lane of West 11th Street from North Morton Street to North College Avenue will be closed Monday and Tuesday. The westbound lane will be closed Wednesday through Friday. Detour is necessary.

The northbound lane of North Rogers Street from West Eighth Street to 10th Street will be closed this week and for the duration of the storm sewer project. Expect a detour.

South Park Avenue from East Second Street to East Atwater Avenue will be closed this week for storm sewer installation. Expect a detour.

North Old Indiana 37 (Lower Cascades) from North Walnut Street to West Gourley Pike will be closed from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Saturday for an IU Habitat Run. Expect a detour.
