Pets Alive sponsors $2 neutering event

Male cats in need of neutering have one week left to receive the operation for $2 from Pets Alive Animal Clinic.

Pets Alive, a Bloomington nonprofit animal clinic, has neutered 259 male cats from 21 Indiana counties this month as part of its February NeuterAPalooza! event.

The center is now urging all caretakers of male cats to call 812-824-1349 to obtain one of the few remaining appointments for a $2 neuter operation for their pets.

With funding assistance of $2,000 from the Humane Society of the United States, Pets Alive was able to offer the special promotion as part of the HSUS’ Spay Day 2011 activities.
