Lynch named Associate Athletic Director at Butler

Former IU head football coach Bill Lynch has been hired as the Associate Athletic Director at Butler University.

A former All-American quarterback (1974-76) and head coach (1985-90) at Butler, Lynch’s role will focus on the development of the athletic department, through soliciting gifts, according to a press release.

Lynch was fired as IU coach on November 28 after compiling a 19-30 record during four seasons in Bloomington.
