Brian Macken memorial planned for Saturday

An interfaith memorial service for sophomore Brian Macken will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Newman Center. The memorial is open to the public and
everyone is welcome, said sophomore Jack Reilly, a friend of Macken’s who helped organize the memorial.

Reilly said the service was planned by a group of Macken’s friends, and students will be doing the readings during the service.

Macken, 19, died Jan. 18 while hospitalized at Bloomington Hospital after being found unconscious at the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity house Jan. 14.
