Former U.S. Representative, U.S. Senator and U.S. Ambassador to Germany, Dan Coats defeated Brad Ellsworth for Evan Bayh’s former U.S. Senate seat.
Coats, the republican candidate, will be joining Sen. Richard Lugar to represent Indiana in the United States Senate.
Although running for U.S. Senate, Brad Ellsworth, the democratic candidate, is currently representing Indiana’s 8th District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
