Author and award-winning writer Gay Talese will speak at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater as the first visitor for the IU School of Journalism Fall Speakers Series.
The event at 7 p.m. today is free and open to the public.
Talese, 78, has spent his career writing on various topics including sports, New York, the mafia and more. His work has been published in The New York Times, Esquire, Harper’s and The New Yorker. His books include “Honor Thy Father,” “Thy Neighbor’s Wife,” “The Kingdom and the Power,” and more.
