SPEA honors successful students

Four undergraduate students were announced as winners of the School of Public and Environmental Affairs’ Academic Admission Award.

Created for high-achieving, recently admitted SPEA students, the award is based on cumulative grade point average.

The four recipients are Rebecca Horton, Stephanie Gerbick, Rachel Irvine and Nathan Barnett.

The students are enrolled full-time and are taking at least six credit hours at SPEA.
“We recruit the best students from the University Division each semester and understand that financial incentives are important to students, particularly in these difficult economic times. We look forward to these students becoming future leaders in SPEA, at IU-Bloomington and in their careers,” said Burney Fischer, SPEA director of undergraduate programs, in an IU press release.

Admissions are accepted twice a year, in May and December.
