More than burgers and fries
Indianapolis-based The Steak n Shake Company, which owns subsidiary Steak n Shake Operations Inc., is planning on changing its corporate name to Biglari Holdings Inc. to distinguish between itself and the famous restaurant chain it owns. The company said on its Web site that it has already reserved the NYSE symbol BH and its shareholders will vote on the name April 8.

Eli Lilly announced the transfer of $1 million to South Africa-based Aspen Pharma as part of a 2003 Transfer of Technology agreement. The agreement aims to expand access to medicine for multidrug-resistant tuberculosis.
Simon sells European malls
Simon Property Group and Ivanhoe Cambridge are selling interests in the joint venture Simon Ivanhoe to European real estate company Unibail-Rodamco. Simon Ivanhoe owns seven shopping malls in France and Poland, and Simon Property Group expects to gain $300 million from the sale. Simon will still own a 25 percent interest in five future Simon Ivanhoe projects.
