Author Michael Pollan will appear 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the IU Auditorium, in an event for IU’s 26th annual ArtsWeek, which is themed “Arts and the Environment.”
Pollan’s talk, titled “Out of the Garden and onto the Plate: One Writer’s Path,” is an autobiographical talk about the path his writing and thinking has taken since he first planted a vegetable garden, under the influence of Henry David Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Free general admission tickets to this lecture will be issued to students with a valid student ID beginning 10 a.m. Thursday at the IU Auditorium Box Office. Free general admission tickets will be available to non-students beginning 10 a.m. Feb. 1 at the IU Auditorium Box Office. There will be a ticket limit of four per person.
