IU opens office of engagement in Evansville

As part of IU’s Innovate Indiana initiative, a new office of engagement has opened in Evansville for those interested in attending IU.

Services will be provided to those that live in southwest Indiana by giving those in the area a more efficient way to access IU resources.

With the departments focus on building partnerships with local business and community leaders they are hoping to provide support and assistance for economic development.

“Southwest Indiana, with its rich business history and strong alumni base, is a vital part of the state for IU,” said IU Vice President for Engagement Bill Stephan. “With the establishment of an engagement office in Evansville, IU’s Innovate Indiana initiative continues to move forward, enhancing access to university research, technology, technical expertise, economic development and educational services to this important Indiana community.”
