Kilroy's to open in downtown Indy

Kilroy's on Kirkwood will be expanding to Indianapolis, moving in to the building at 201 S. Meridian St. left vacant by Smokey Bones Barbeque and Grill.

Owner Linda Prall hopes to open by the week of the first Indianapolis Colts home game, which takes place Sept. 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

"It would be a great introduction," said Cory Huttenlocker, Prall's assistant.

Huttenlocker said Prall has been waiting for an opportunity to expand the business and decided to take the chance when it came along.
