INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana is getting more than $11 million to support energy efficiency and conservation projects in Bloomington, Fort Wayne and Indianapolis.
The Department of Energy grants will help communities create green jobs, become more energy efficient and reduce local pollution.
The grants will be used for a variety of projects in the three cities that Sen. Evan Bayh says will produce long-term benefits. The money comes from the federal Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program.
